This app ("the App") helps you study Japanese. We respect your privacy and keep data collection to a minimum. This policy explains what we collect and how it is used.
Information we collect
• We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
• Your learning progress (e.g. kana results) and settings are stored on your device.
• Analytics: we use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to diagnose crashes. This includes anonymous usage events and device information.
• Advertising: the free version shows ads via Google AdMob. Ads may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to be more relevant, only if you allow tracking when prompted.
• Purchases are handled by Apple. We receive your purchase status but not your payment details.
How we use information
• To operate and improve the App, diagnose problems, and show ads in the free version.
Third parties
• Google (Firebase, AdMob) and Apple (App Store, in-app purchases) process data under their own privacy policies.
Your choices
• You can decline app tracking when prompted; ads will then be non-personalized.
• Purchasing Premium removes ads.
Data retention and security
• On-device data stays on your device and is removed when you delete the App.
Children
• The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
• We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change.
